dětské dresy na fotbal I think we can all agree that Peter Crouch is a bit of a legend, right? The 6ft 7in striker may not look like a footballer but he’s had a very successful career in the Premier League. He’s also played 42 times for England, scoring 22 goals. Not bad at all.But the 36-year-old may have just experienced the greatest moment of his career this week.Ok, so it’s probably not the greatest achievement of his career but it seems Crouch is pretty happy to have been included in the Guinness World Records 2018 annual.Crouch’s 51 headed goals in the Premier League has seen him enter the record books after he surpassed Alan Shearer’s previous record of 46 headers back in May 2015.
Crouch – who scored his first header for Aston Villa back in 2001 – has admitted he’s “very proud” of become a record holder.Crouch reacts“It feels good!” he said. “To hold any record, certainly in the Premier League, is great. I’m very proud of it.”“I see centre forwards hanging around outside the box and it blows my mind, I just can’t get my head around it.“I believe if you are a centre forward, you should be in the box, ready for the ball. That’s the way I have always played my game and that will never change.”
And after the official Twitter account of Guiness World Records congratulated Crouch, he replied with a typically brilliant tweet.“Thankyou for including me . I’ll have a Guinness to celebrate @GWR,” he wrote.Stoke boss Mark Hughes will be hoping that he only has the one Guinesss in celebration, though.Despite reaching the final few years of his career, Crouch still has an important role to play in this Stoke side and has already chipped in with three goals this campaign. However, Crouch and his teammates will have tobe at their very best as they travel to Manchester City on Saturday. But will the City defence be able to deal with the dres chelsea record-breaking Crouch?
